Ernest Cutler founded Ernest Cutler Constructions to solve a problem he saw too often: Tasmanians struggling to access high-quality, energy-efficient homes without the long wait times or unpredictable costs of traditional builds. With decades of industry experience behind him, Ernie set out to do things differently, pairing thoughtful design with modular efficiency.

Built for Tasmanian conditions, Ernest Cutler homes are fast to construct, fire-resilient, and built to last. For Ernie, modular isn’t a trend, it’s the most practical way to deliver better outcomes for homeowners, especially in regions where trades are scarce and weather delays are common.
