A HOME FOR EVERYONE
About Our Company
Granny Flats & Cabins Victoria is a proudly Australian-owned family business that designs and manufactures high-quality granny flats, cabins, workshops, pool houses, studios, and more right here in Melbourne, Victoria. Led by registered builder and skilled wood machinist Matt Chapman, our company draws on decades of hands-on experience—Matt has been crafting timber sheds, kids’ cubbies, and backyard retreats in the local community since he was 14.
Previously known as Matt’s Homes & Outdoor Design, our business has evolved to focus on our expanding range of granny flats, inspiring our recent rebrand to Granny Flats & Cabins Victoria.
As a father of three and an active community supporter, Matt is dedicated to giving back, supporting organisations from the Royal Children’s Hospital fund to local kindergartens. His passion for creative design and practical building expertise ensures we offer versatile solutions to suit every backyard and lifestyle, whether a private retreat for teenagers or a comfortable granny flat for extended family.
At Granny Flats & Cabins Victoria, we believe in delivering exceptional value, quality craftsmanship, and genuine customer service. You’re never just a number to us, and we’re committed to making your experience straightforward, enjoyable, and worthy of recommending to others.
